This is a comment on a YouTube video about The Legend of Korra, a fantasy action adventure cartoon coming out this year starring a dark-skinned Inuit girl named Korra. I don’t even.

I truly, honestly don’t understand how someone could have made it all the way through ATLA if they had a problem with POC.  Like, the amount of cognitive dissonance it would take should be enough to make your head explode, but somehow this person managed it?

(Also, HOW THE FUCK IS IT A “LETDOWN” IF A COMPLETELY ORIGINAL CHARACTER THAT YOU’VE NEVER SEEN BEFORE IS BLACK, UNLESS YOU HAVE AN INHERENT BELIEF THAT BLACK PEOPLE ARE SUBHUMAN, YOU AGGRESSIVELY IGNORANT ASSHOLE.)
