Tags: #i know that mako and bolin got short changed #in terms of characterization #I KNOW I GET IT #but asami and lin just #got so much shit thrown at them #and sometimes i'm just sitting there like #WHY are you DOING this #what is the POINT #why would you put asami through that #why would you make her lose everything and then watch her boyfriend slip away from her as well #why would you make lin tenzin's ex and make her lose her bending for him #and don't even get me started on korra #most powerful bender in the world but when was the last time we saw her win a fight #that wasn't in a probending ring #and god i don't have a problem with romance in narratives #i'm a KATAANG SHIPPER for CHRIST'S SAKE #but that just killed korra's character so fucking much #like shit if you can't do something well don't do it #i still love atla and i still like lok and i still like bryke #but you two need to either get your shit together and improve your writing #or get more writers to help temper your predisposition for teenage drama and whatever the hell you did to the women of lok
