I have, for everyone’s convenience, compiled a list of all the characters in ATLA and LOK that are white. Make sure to keep a copy of this list on file for future reference in case there’s ever any more confusion on the matter.
Actually, question, what would the Air Nomads be considered?

“However, once we had the concept of the four nations in place, it made more sense that Aang would be a young monk in the Air Nation, a peaceful society inspired by Tibetan and Buddhist cultures.” — Michael Dante DiMartino; page 14 (emphasis mine).
“I still suspect that Ty Lee is an Air Nomad descendent. Look at her features. They don’t match up to Firebender ones.”
YES YES YES YES YES I HAVE THOUGHT THAT FOR THE LONGEST TIME!!
SHE IS THE FEMALE VERSION OF AANG. I SWEAR
OH MY GOD?! I NEVER THOUGHT ABOUT THAT.
0.0 it makes sense!
I mean, she also is very swift, like, unlike firebenders who ground themselves and try to force their way through. She’s moving all over the place, she dodges a lot of the attacks rather than parrying them. She moves around the person rather than trying to force her way through.
Yeah, I’ve thought for a while that Ty Lee might have a bit of Air Nomad blood in her. Not only do her features tend more towards those of the Air Nomads, but she’s also somehow highly spiritual without being bender — the Air Nomads, of course, being known for their highly spiritual nature.
And, yeah, like Emily said, her fighting style is very reminiscent of Airbending.
